La Gelateria in Lindau

Hygiene deficiencies (09/28/2020): non-compliance with the current regulations! WC: paper bucket overfilled; no cleaning schedule posted; The sign for hand hygiene was hanging over the sink, but there was no disinfectant. Dispenser available (not even an empty bottle, so permanently not available); Also, no guest data was recorded on 09/28/2020. Tables and Chairs were poorly wiped, always with the same cloth. Tiramisu was weak in taste, staff could really be more attentive and friendly. We didn't feel very comfortable there, otherwise we would have re-ordered. And on the other hand it was a wonderful day on Lindau Island. 🌞

Super delicious ice cream, in addition to the well-known types, there are also many unusual ones such as, for example, Weise chocolate, tiramisu and bueno. There is also soft ice cream and frozen yoghurt 🍡🍨

Ice cream only average, pistachio tastes like marzipan, a sign that it is not a real pistachio but just some ready-made mix and flavors. Service could be friendlier.

Very tasty ice cream and a wonderful selection of flavors! Should have eaten more 😄 Found the service ok and was overall satisfied.

Did a weekend trip to the lake and went to the island in the evening. We immediately noticed this ice cream parlor positively. Great display, soft ice cream and even frozen yogurt. Everything was delicious and the service was very courteous. We'll definitely be back next time. P.s. the alpine caramel was amazing.

Location is good, ice cream is mediocre BUT impossible to serve. The gentleman hardly speaks German and is so extremely unfriendly that you almost get the fear of ordering anything. Rarely annoyed by a service! This ice cream parlor will at least not see us again. PS: The protective mask (Corona) wore the named MENS under the nose. I have never been treated / served as badly as here in my whole life. The most unfriendly and aggressive service ever. The older man at the counter is supposed to quit his job if he hates him so much. In my opinion, this ice cream parlor no longer has a right to exist. There are a thousand better alternatives in Lindau. A complete no-go for all ice cream lovers! At least the ice would be good, but that also fails completely. An eyesore in this beautiful place on Lake Constance :(

Fast and super friendly operation. Tastiest ice cream in the area. Especially delicious alpine caramel. Overall hammer-could go there every day and feast.

Miniature ice cream balls for a sporty price of € 1.30. The taste of the ice cream is okay, but nothing special either. Unfortunately, the typically Italian friendliness was not even there. Pity! There is no reason for us to come back.

Good ice cream but a little rude staff. Mask requirement is not observed! Even the staff wears the mask under the nose.

Ice cream is delicious, but the service is not very friendly. Was now within 7 days about 10 times there and when my son on the last night a ball of dark chocolate ice cream wanted that the seller had just put away, he actually did not get it. I understand that someday you also want to graduate and want to finish work. But then I do not clear out a few varieties beforehand and do not try to get rid of those varieties that are not doing so well. Especially not if a toddler is at the counter ...

A most pleasant selection of gelato, one could get seriously fat trying all the flavours. Coffee and lemon is a good combo.

Great ice only the service is unfriendly if you want to try ice cream which you do not know! Too bad Italians but no friendliness !!

A great ice cream! Honestly one of the best I have ever had! Really highly recommended. It was amazing that an ice cream parlor estimated to be 50m away was 10ct more expensive. Very large selection of ice cream.

Ice cream is made at the location, but with sub-standard ingredients and definitely lots of coloring. Good enough for a sunny day. !!warning!! - definitely some hygiene issues going on. While consuming the ice cream I reached a COIN in the middle of my scoop, which must’ve fallen into the big container they serve from or fallen in during the preparation process. Very gross. If this would’ve been in a child’s serving it could’ve ended very badly.
